Al Manar Islamic Centre

Al Manar Islamic Centre is an Islamic institution operating under the supervision and oversight of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai. All its activities and programmes are subject to the official directives of the Department.

The Centre was established under the gracious patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum — the spouse of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai (may Allah protect him).

It is a beacon of knowledge that aims to spread the Islamic sciences to all who seek to quench their thirst from the spring of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet — within an authorised institutional framework that adheres to national principles and the tolerant values of Islam.

Vision

To spread the moderate Islamic culture and the Quranic culture, facilitate the teaching and memorisation of the Holy Quran, and teach the Prophetic Sunnah and the fragrant Prophetic biography — in obedience to Allah the Almighty and in service to the nation and the ummah.

Mission

To organise efforts to spread and develop the Islamic culture and Quranic culture, and to teach and memorise the Holy Quran — by providing an environment that motivates giving and creativity, benefiting society and cooperating with relevant authorities. This contributes to nurturing society with an Islamic upbringing that qualifies them to serve the nation and the ummah, especially the communities residing in the United Arab Emirates.
